New Generation Rolling Stock

The NGR project involves the design, construction, delivery and maintenance of the NGR fleet of trains into Queensland as well as the design and construction of the maintenance centre at Wulkuraka.

Whilst working for Queensland Rail, Alison managed the Legal and Commercial evaluation team , including:
✦ developing the commercial framework and contracting strategy for the project and drafting the contractual documentation for the project;
✦ advising on the legal and commercial risks associated with rolling stock procurement, whole of life maintenance and the competitive tender process generally;
✦ developing the negotiation strategy, leading commercial and legal evaluation workshops and negotiations, evaluation of the proposals and advising the evaluation team on risk allocation and risk adjustment;
✦ advising and assisting the project team generally on all commercial, legal and technical aspects of the project, including working closely with the engineering team to develop the performance specification for the trains.
