Cranbourne - Packenham Rail Upgrade

This $2.5 bn project was designed to increase the capacity on Cranbourne and Pakenham lines by 30% with introduction of new high-capacity trains and modern signalling system, rebuilding stations along the corridor and removal of level crossings.

Alison worked as Commercial and Legal Advisor to DTPLI as part of the core Project Team on the Cranborne-Pakenham Rail Uprgrade Project in Melbourne, which involved:
✦ Managing the external legal providers and providing instructions on structure and drafting of legal and process documentation for the Project;
✦ Leading the drafting of the client specifications for the Head Contract and managing the input of all stakeholders into this process;
✦ Attending clarification and negotiation sessions with the subcontractors for the Project (this was an unsolicited proposal, therefore negotiations were predominately between the Proponent and its subcontractors).
